These are chunky stirrup leg warmers for adults. A friend wanted to gift a custom pair to her athletic employee, and the result is stylish but still perfect for yoga class. It made me sad to think this custom pattern wouldn’t see the light of day again, so here it is for you to enjoy! You can make them a long or short as you like, and with or without the stirrup. I’d love to see your work, so tag your Instagram pics with #knitsforlife or tweet them to me @knitsforlife

Oh how I wish I could knit or crochet. I’d be all over these. Especially with a thick cotton yarn for spring. Love these!!!!
Thanks, Oneika! If you can’t find someone, I do custom orders!
GOOD to know! Thanks!!
Just a quick question, I see that the pattern calls to work in the round (spiral) but you haven’t noted to join the first chain you make. I’m a seasoned crocheter so I’m assuming that I am going to join the chain with a slip stitch? You do note to NOT twist the chain, but not to join. Just want to double check that you are joining the chain before you start row 1 after the foundation chain? Thanks!
Thanks for the note. You’re right!
OK i absolutly LOVE these BOOT where did you get them.. or what is the brand name of them??
LOVE THOSE BOOTS!!!
What is ltc?
Hi Michelle- The LTC is explained on page 1 of the pattern.
Indeed it is, but it doesn’t make a ton of sense for me. I’m lost after ” fptc in the front post” which I’ve done.. “St two rounds below and to the right” does this mean to single crochet two of the stitches you skipped before the fptc? What about the third stitch you skipped? Thanks!
It took me a few hours of experimenting, but I figured it out! No further explanation needed. 🙂
Wow that was odd. I just wrote an incredibly long comment but after I clicked submit my
comment didn’t show up. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all
that over again. Anyways, just wanted to
say wonderful blog!
These are adorable!!! And absolutely what I was looking for !!! I have a short warmer for yoga, but need a longer version and viola! So excited! Thank you so much!
