We partnered with FCB Chicago to create Meow Mix Knits, an interactive cat sweater that lets owners engage with their pets. Each hand made sweater featured a unique design with a pocket and an attached yarn ball toy.
We knit dozens of sweaters on-demand for a time-sensitive production schedule. We translated creative’s designs into detailed color knitting charts to produce on our “blank” sweater design. Our original “blank” sweater design details allowed faster production and unisex styling: boatneck collar, rolled hems and a drop shoulder. Sweaters were knit on a Brother KH-270 knitting machine using a labor-intensive hand fed intarsia technique and duplicate stitching.
