Psst! Hey you, my fuzzy little customer.
Can I give you a free hat?
“Why certainly,” you say, “I love free stuff!”
Good, I was hoping you’d say that. Now, this is just for you fuzzy people who purchased a hand made item or made an item from a pattern at Knits for Life. (Aww, not in the club? Go away and get your own. Done? OK, huddle up.) I’m shipping a free hat to any customer anywhere in the world every single month on my dime. Yes, I said free. Yes, I said on my dime.
“Woah cool! What do I have to do?” you say.
If you already bought one of my hand made items or made one of my designs, you’re already in.
“Sweet! I knew that was a good buy,” you say.
Yep, you were right. Now go get your purchase or finished object. Stick your hat on your pretty little head, sit on your yarn bombed chair, pull out your cell phone cozy. OK, ready? Now take a photo. Yep, it can be an OG MySpace snapshot in the bathroom with your cell. It can be a silly Photo Booth shot off your MacBook (brownie points for the ones that make you look like a genetic experiment.) As long as it has your pretty little face and your purchase (Also cats. Please please please make it have a cat.)
Done? Yay, that was fun! (And also kinda gave me flashbacks of 2008.) Now go post it on Knits for Life’s Facebook wall and get yourself a nice glass of chocolate milk. I’ll blast each month’s winner across the interwebs at the beginning of the month.
“But my friend Marsha always wins this stuff, not me” you say.
Whatevs! Now that you’re in the club, you can enter a new photo every month. If you win, you’re out for six months. Then you’re back in. Like for the rest of your life. (Cough! Ahem! checkoutmysalesyouhaveaprettygoodchance is basically what I’m saying.)
“This bitch be co-azy. She really is giving it away!” you say.
Um. Well. OK yeah pretty much. But what, did you think I was kidding when I said I love to knit and crochet? Did you think I was kidding when I said I love my fuzzy wuzzy customers? Well I wasn’t. I have a compulsive crochet habit and am passionate about connecting my hats with the people who love them. You win!
Since you have more questions, here’s some more same-sized-print.
Now go take pictures! I get to choose the style and size of each month’s hat. I might use your photo on the web only in association with Knits for Life. I get to choose the winner; it might be random, it might not. If you don’t claim your hat and confirm your address, you lose. If your hat is lost in the mail, you lose. If not, you win.
